School Based Trainee & Apprentice Recruitment Services
SCS can source your School Based Trainee or apprentice requirements from our network of State and Private High Schools throughout Qld, we list your vacancy, review submitted resumes and applications and schedule interviews at your workplace at a time to suit you.
Once you have selected a suitable applicant we will submit offer to student and liase with student, parent/guardian and school to ascertain acceptance of offer. On acceptance of offer we will organise and coordinate the AAC sign up, reccomend a suitable RTO and assist you with any required government paperwork and AAC supplied Incentive claim forms.
School Based Trainee & Apprenticeship Basic Information
School-based Traineeships & Apprenticeships are a great way to recruit and train staff and put something back into the community.
By employing a young person into a School-based Traineeship or Apprenticeship, you are able to train and develop future staff to understand your business and commit to a career pathway within the industry. Having an experienced staff member on-call to assist when required can help your business through its staffing problems. Trained, committed employees make a difference to your 'bottom line'.
A school-based Traineeship/Apprenticeship may be undertaken by high School students with the agreement of their parent/guardian and the school.
They undertake paid employment for a min. of 48 days per 12-month period.
The trainee will only be paid for the time spent at work. (They do not receive pay for time spent in 'off the job' training.)
